About the FDC workshop: How do we adapt current knowledge on good teaching to the new reality? To think through this question, join the FDC for a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Discussion Group session on Tuesday, April 14 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. online via WebEx. We'll discuss the Google doc entitled What the Research Tells Us about Higher Education’s Temporary Shift to Remote Teaching: What the Public Needs to Know, from the SoTL Community by SoTL researchers Nancy Chick, Jennifer Friberg, and Lee Skallerup Bessette. During the conversation we’ll make connections to our current challenges and think about ways we can take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to study aspects of our teaching and our students' learning.
