Description

The O-1 "extraordinary ability" visa is a great option for researchers, graduate students and postdocs looking to move into industry. The O-1 is merit-based with no lottery, can be processed in weeks, and despite the "extraordinary" label, you don't need to be a household name to qualify.

Join us for this webinar where we'll cover:

  • How your academic work (publications, peer reviews, research impact) can help you qualify for the O-1
  •  Why the O-1 is a great option compared to the H-1B lottery
  • Timelines and costs involved in applying for the O-1
  •  How to talk to potential employers about the O-1

Speakers: Awais Hussain and Daniel Larson

Hussain is the founder of O1Pathways.com, an AI powered platform to streamline the O-1 visa application process. He is originally from the UK, and has a degree in physics and philosophy from Harvard.

Larson is an immigration attorney based in San Francisco, with over a decade of experience in business immigration. He focuses primarily on O-1 / EB-1 and EB2-NIW cases. He earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in 2012.
