This workshop is designed for graduate students who want to take their literature and database searching skills to the next level. Participants will learn how to build effective, discipline-appropriate search strategies using advanced techniques such as controlled vocabularies, Boolean logic, and field-specific searching. The session will also cover iterative search methods and strategies for selecting the most relevant databases and tools for comprehensive literature searching. This session is part of the Skills for Graduate Students workshop series, which provides hands-on, skills-based training to help graduate students strengthen their research, writing, and academic practices.
