Join us for The Golden Groove Awards!

As part of Graduate Student Appreciation Week 2025 - celebrating the Grit, Groove, and Graditude of UMBC's Graduate Students - the GSA Golden Groove Awards honor the outstanding contributions of graduate students, faculty, staff, and organizations who enhance the UMBC graduate student experience.

This celebratory event recognizes the remarkable leadership, advocacy, and community spirit that embody the heart of the GSA. Awardees will be celebrated for their commitment to mentorship, service, and fostering an inclusive and collaborative campus environment.

Highlights Include:

• Recognition of exemplary individuals and organizations across multiple categories

• Presentation of awards, each accompanied by a plaque and a $250 honorarium

• An opportunity to reflect on the resilience and dedication of our graduate community
