Learn about the nationally recognized teaching certificates that can be earned from UMBC's Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL). It's never too early to work towards building your CV, particularly if you are considering a career in teaching or academia. Earning these certifications is FREE for all UMBC graduate students & postdocs.
This is an in person session, it will be hosted in person at Commons Building, Room 331.
If you are interested in learning what this certification entails and how to begin to working towards it, please attend this information session on Friday, September 8, from 1 - 2 PM. This event is co-hosted by CIRTL and the Office of Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Professional Development (GSPD) at UMBC.
We will be talking about a paid Summer Enrichment Academy Teaching opportunity too, for those interested, the program is called SEA CIRTL and applications open on September 8th.
