Description
Are you a postdoctoral scholar or junior faculty member? Join us in the UMBC Commons on March 30th from 10am-1pm to get a crash course in NSF grants! From 10-11 we'll hear from an NSF Program Director, Dr. Daniel Marenda, about grant opportunities for early career researchers. From 11-1 we'll hear from UMBC faculty that have been granted NSF Awards about their tips and tricks for successful proposal preparation. From 12-1 there will be lunch, networking, and an optional hands-on activity to get you started with your NSF proposal. This program (including coffee, lunch, and parking) is FREE for postdocs and early career faculty at institutions affiliated with our NSF PROMISE Academy Alliance: UMBC, UMB, UMCP, UMES, UMCES, Salisbury, & Towson.
