Description
Considering graduate school at UMBC? Join our Summer Horizons workshop!
UMBC is hosting a special event called "Summer Horizons" for undergraduate researchers interested in learning more about UMBC Graduate School programs and admissions, particularly in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The agenda will feature sessions on the hidden curriculum of the application process, perspectives from current graduate students at UMBC, and how to fund your graduate education at UMBC. Did you know we have programs that provide multiple years of support? We do! There will also be an opportunity to network with faculty about what their programs can offer you, and what you can bring to their program.
Summer Horizons is co-sponsored by the Graduate School at UMBC, the NSF-funded PROMISE Engineering Institute, the NSF-funded Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program, and the NIH-funded Meyerhoff Graduate Fellows Program.
